As tree surgeons, we have a lot of spare wood on our hands. So we turn it into high-quality kiln dried firewood to keep you warm during the winter months! Our logs are cut to 8-9 inches long.
Kiln dried wood logs are thoroughly dried, so they light quickly, burn excellently and put out plenty of heat. They also burn cleanly, meaning your stove glass shouldn’t go black or cause excess soot or tarring inside the flue.
With top-notch kiln dried firewood, you’re still burning a completely natural product. They simply have less moisture, giving you a cleaner, hotter burn.

How does kiln drying work?
Pre-cut wood logs are stacked in metal cages and pushed into a kiln, which is like a big commercial oven with fans to promote air circulation. They’re dried for up to 4-6 days at around 70°C. The high heat and constant airflow gradually eliminates any moisture from the logs.
